MaxYes, please just remove your ad blocking app with pihole entirely. I don't even know what good your ad blocker is since you have to manually update the filters? My filters were just a year out of date last I checked.

Steven MergedI'd love to see this in Untangles DNS server. Periodically parsing domains/ips from a few lists of files shouldn't be too difficult for untangle to handle and it would save me from having another appliance for dns :)

BrianSWOW — I just ASSumed that ad-block was an auto-update... mine were form 2015! I just updated — yes get rid of this junk and provide a modern means to ad-block. white / black list and life time of the DNS record is a good start.
