Heather P AdminThanks for the votes on this. What are folk looking for here, iOS apps, Android apps?
An app of this nature would display all appliances related to the account logged in, with a status (online/offline), highlight any warnings (e.g. needs upgrade) and give notification / alerts (e.g. appliance went offline). We welcome any more feedback on what folk are looking for here. Thanks! -

Paul HI want a mobile app with buttons that can turn a rule on or off. E.g. A dinnertime button that will turn off all kids internet access.

Vova ChernomoretsEspecially for paid subscriptions! It would be nice to have a mobile app designed specifically for the NG Firewall, accommodating most, if not all, functionality. While the current interface is "mobile aware/friendly" it is very cumbersome to use on a mobile device.

Justin WoleryWould really love something like this for MSPs and MSSPs that have dozens of Untangle NG firewalls deployed to manage. make it give us push notification is a firewall is down, spewing alerts etc... This would be really cool. If it could exist for Android and as a windows 10 UWP ap that would be awesome too.

Sean HiOS app. Overview of system. Ability to easily set parameters for time allowance per family member and turn one or all of them on or off with a button push. Also event push notifications instead of emails.

AndreasA mobile app that talks to NG FIrewall directly would be a great feature. Maybe this app would need to be combined with some sort of VPN to get an admin connection to NG Firewall. We should not expose the Admin Interface in any kind to the public.

ArmandoLook at Firewalla. They get it. And, I might get it, too, if Untangle doesn't figure things out quickly. Firewall alerts on my phone are the shit!

mrjlturnerI agree! Using the WebUI via phone is horrible. I would love to see an Android app!

Bradley BozarthGod, try to add a tag with a expiration of 10 pm on a Galaxy mobile device. NOT POSSIBLE. Web UI is great in theory, $#!7 in practice.

David YoderI think a better form of this suggestion would be to have a mobile app for the Command Center. If there are already multiple devices listed in my Command Center, having a mobile app to make configuration changes to those devices would be useful. But I have to be honest, there's a lot of little buttons and knobs in NGFW - I'm not sure how well those will translate to a mobile app and really tiny screen - so the app will likely be heavily limited.

Mark GilbertBoth Dashboard and commandCenter app. CommandCenter is great for environments like mine where I have 6 locations all with one client. Possibly from command center to click on a device and have it switch to the device but also be able to go to a device tab and directly select.
As a small MSP being able to troubleshoot check on the firewall implement rules quickly is important when in the field.
